Environmental Toxicity And Women’s Health

Environmental toxicity can be a key cause of women’s health problems—including some cancers—according to women’s health expert and author of 8 Weeks to Women’s Wellness, Marianne Marchese, ND. Marchese describes ways to avoid these harmful chemicals and support the body’s natural detoxification system. Through a combination of diet, lifestyle and dietary supplements, women can effectively eliminate harmful toxins they are exposed to, according to Marchese. This is a re-broadcast of the Five to Thrive Live! show featured on the Cancer Support Network.

Marianne Marchese, ND, is a clinician, author and educator. She received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) and completed a two-year postgraduate residency in integrative medicine and women's health and a six-month post-graduate training in environmental medicine.
