What's in Your Water?
If you are not worried about your drinking water, you probably should be. Did you know there are more than 80 regulated contaminants that can sneak their way into the water supply. And there are many unregulated substances like pharmaceutical drugs that also make their way into our drinking water. In this episode of Five to Thrive Live, water filter expert, Cheryl Luptowski talks about water contaminants and what options are available to filter those contaminants. Prior to joining NSF, she worked as a state-certified water treatment plant operator, strengthening her passion for drinking water safety. Cheryl has been working for NSF since 1999, she is the face behind “Ask NSF,” NSF’s online Q&A portal and chairs the NSF Consumer Advisory Panel.
